Players that are 13 or 14 years old
In general, participants have skated Travel or has at least one year of D-eague House experience. Player should be able to skate backwards, do forward crossovers and be able to do a hockey stop. Typically, the team practices two to three nights a week and has one home and one away game each weekend. In addition, the team will compete in several tournaments. The Connecticut RiverHawks Hockey Club plans on having both A and B Travel Teams at ALL age levels with an additional teams depending on interest. Travel hockey is competitive hockey and is a commitment by both the child and his/her parents or guardian. Travel is open to all boys and girls.
